Huge 10.7L Frying basket
When we investigated the market, we saw huge indiscrepancies in claimed cooking capacity and the actual capacity. We found some 10L airfryers which only had a volume of 8.7L litres – in fact, we found very few airfryers with honest capacities stated. With the Genesis we calculated the capacity to be 10.7L and this is exactly what you’ll get *.
Why a huge 10.7L basket matters:
- Huge enough to cook 2 chickens and some veggies
- Some baking pans (Maximum 26cm Diameter) may fit into the basket so you can cook or bake in the airfryer
- Some pre-made meals come in foil trays – just add it tray and all into the frying basket
- It makes it far easier to remove cooked food because it is wider than most other airfryers
Full metal inner cavity
The cavity where the frying basket fits into, is a full metal cavity. This substantially reduces the normal airfryer “Plastic Smell” and makes it easier to clean as well.

* The volume is not only limited to the volume the basket can hold, but also the usable space (3-5mm) above the frying basket which may accommodate protruding food to be fried.

I got mine today, at first I was not sure if I made a good choice as it was the first time seeing the brand, but I got home and unbox and started using it. I’m so excited. It’s spacious and accommodative for my large meals I always cook.

We’ve been using this model for a few months and I must say, other than being of a larger volume and accommodating bigger items , we are not overly impressed. Compared to a previous no-name brand of air fryer we used, the cooking timing on this item is off. Because of the larger volume, you have to cook longer than indicated by the programs. There is no beep indicating you should turn potatoes or fries. In fact, there is little point in having the different cooking programs other than the defrost function – almost all the other cooking menus hardly changes the timing and temperature. The item works, make no mistake, but not quite as one would expect. There is no intelligence built into the menus. It’s basically a fully manual model with lipstick.
