The suction of this vacuum is good for its size and easily picks up every grain of sand and small pieces of dirt from the floor while getting to awkward spaces. The two additional attachments (narrow nozzle and brush) are well thought through in design and altogether meet my requirements. The electrical cord is long enough to not make me feel restricted and the machine is a neat, small size for storage. The cord easily wraps around fittings on the body and extended handle.
The machine switches off when it overheats. This is a wonderful safety feature had it not been there my machine’s motor would have burned out. Good to note: if the suction isn’t strong anymore (it can usually lift the weight of my carpet) then it means the filter is full and must be emptied. Always check and empty out regularly. Another nice feature is that the filter is washable. It dries quickly in good weather conditions.
My concern however is that I don’t know how long the washable filter typically lasts and I’m afraid that I won’t find a replacement when my machine eventually needs one. I’ve searched it on the internet and haven’t found one that resembles the required filter.
